An incision will be made from your armpit down to the elbow and through this excess fat, and loose, saggy skin will remove to tighten underlying tissue and to reshape and sculpt the upper arm.  Surgery typically takes from 1-2 hours and is an outpatient procedure.  Mild discomfort, swelling and bruising are normal and to be expected but resolves gradually over several days.  Oral pain medication easily manages any discomfort you may experience.
